retain [keep, maintain] sth to the last [end]; stay [remain, continue] 《faithful》.

●操を立て通す preserve [retain] one's chastity [virtue] (all one's life); remain chaste to the last [until death]; remain faithful to one's husband all one's life

・最後まで忠誠を立て通す remain faithful [loyal] to the last.
